Austin, TX – June 21, 2019, a local woman is facing DWI charges after driving through the side of a McDonald’s and allegedly injured three people.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. at the McDonald’s off of Manchaca Road and Slaughter Lane.
According to the manager for Lamb’s Tire and Automative, 76-year-old Nancy Graham was operating her car. When Graham was asked if she needed anything, she reportedly said no before quickly reversing into the tire shop. She then pulled forward and crashed the the side of the McDonald’s.
Three people inside the McDonald’s were struck and transported to Austin hospitals by EMS with non-life-threatening-injuries.
Police reports indicate that Graham allegedly admitted to drinking six beers but being at a “ten” on a scale of how drunk she was. Alcohol was also found in Graham’s vehicle.
