Attorney Commentary
Although DPS has conducted their own report, it’s important to conduct an independent investigation of the scene right away to preserve evidence. Trucking companies send tactical teams out to these scenes to “collect” evidence, and often times, evidence can be altered or lost.
Depending on the results of the investigation, the passengers of the Dodge Ram may have the right to pursue a potential personal injury lawsuit. It’s important to contact an experienced Midland, Texas truck accident lawyer who knows how to deal with the large trucking companies and their larger insurers. An attorney will vigorously advocate to level the playing field and make sure the injured parties are adequately compensated.
